Chado Tea Private Limited

Our little office is on the third floor of Orient Regency in Chembur. It’s a quiet building in Tilak Nagar. At Chado Tea Private Limited, we basically live and breathe tea. The whole place usually smells like dried leaves, which is nice. We spend our mornings tasting different batches and our afternoons sorting out orders. It’s not a high-tech operation. We have some scales, a lot of tins, and a few desks that have seen better days. Chembur is a good place to be, though the traffic on the main road can be a nightmare in the evenings. We started this because we really like tea and wanted to see if we could make a business out of it. It’s just a few of us here. We don’t have a big HR department or anything like that. If there’s a problem, we just talk about it over a cup of chai. Sometimes we get samples that aren't very good, and we have to start all over again. It can be tedious work, checking the leaves for color and size. But it's what we do. We don't have a fancy showroom. If you come by, you’ll just see us working. We try to keep our heads down and just get the tea out to the people who want it. It’s a simple business, and we like the routine of it. We keep our paperwork in stacks and hope for the best with each shipment.
