Budding Champions Foundation

We are located at 5/55 on the first floor of the Swastik building. It’s in the Juhu Scheme area, specifically on N.S. Road 4 in Vile Parle. It’s a busy part of Mumbai, as you can imagine. We’ve been here for a while, working with young kids who have a bit of a spark for sports. We call it Budding Champions because that’s what we see when they first walk in, even if they can’t catch a ball yet. Our office is pretty small, and we spend most of our time out on whatever grounds or patches of grass we can find nearby. The city doesn't give you much space, so we make do with what we’ve got. We don't have any corporate sponsors or big-name backing. It’s just us, some equipment that’s seen better days, and a lot of patience. We deal with the usual stuff like rain washing out practice or kids forgetting their shoes. It’s not glamorous. We’re just trying to give these kids a solid foundation in how to play fair and work hard. Parents drop them off and we get to work. It’s a lot of sweat and sometimes a few tears, but it’s worth it when you see a kid finally get it right. We’re just a local group trying to help the neighborhood kids grow up strong and healthy.
