Brs Garments Llp is situated right in the middle of Sakinaka, over in Anis Compound. If you know the area, we are just across from the BMC School in Galli Number 1. It is a busy spot, Shop Number 26 to be exact. We spend most of our time here dealing with fabrics and getting orders sorted for the local markets. Sakinaka Link Road is always crowded, so there is never a quiet moment outside our door. Sometimes the trucks blocking the lane make it hard to get things in and out, but that is just how it goes in Mumbai. We have been here for a while now, working with a small crew of people who know their way around a sewing machine. It is dusty and loud, but it is where the work happens. People drop by mostly to check on their stuff or to talk about new designs. We don't have a fancy showroom or anything like that. Just some racks, cutting tables, and a lot of thread everywhere. Most days are long, starting early before the heat gets too bad and ending when the last parcel is packed up. It is not glamorous, but we get the job done. If you are looking for us, look for the school and then head into the compound. We are usually there from morning till late evening, trying to keep up with the demand. It is a lot of manual labor and sweat.
