Our setup is in Kandivali East, on Akurli Road. We are actually located care of Jai Kapoor at the Suyash Transport premises. It’s near the police station, so it’s a landmark that everyone knows. Being part of a transport company’s area means there are always trucks and tempos moving around. It’s a very industrial and busy environment. Sambhaji Nagar is a crowded spot, and the noise from the road never really stops. We work out of a section of the building there. It’s not your typical clothing office; it’s more rugged. We have piles of boxes and garments everywhere. Jai Kapoor handles a lot of the logistics side, and we manage the clothing part. It’s a functional partnership. We don’t have a fancy showroom or even a proper reception. You usually have to dodge a few workers or a parked truck to get to our door. It’s honest work. We are usually busy with checking the quality of the arrivals or getting bundles ready for dispatch. The atmosphere is very down-to-earth. We drink tea from the stall at the corner and keep the fans running to beat the heat. It’s a bit dusty because of all the transport activity, but we are used to it. We just focus on getting the orders out on time and keeping the stock moving through the system. It is a fast-paced place to be.
