Bombaebake Llp

Our little setup is in Borivali West, specifically in the Mandapeshwar Dham building on Laxman Mhatre Road. It is a busy part of Mumbai, but we have managed to carve out our space in room 304. Bombaebake is mostly about the stuff we love to eat ourselves. We spend a lot of time in the kitchen area, testing out different recipes or making sure the ovens are at the right temperature. It is hot work, especially in the Mumbai humidity, but we have gotten used to it over time. We are not some massive industrial bakery. It is more of a local operation where we do things by hand. Some days the flour gets everywhere and the floor is a mess, but that is just part of the process. We do not really do fancy talk or polished ads. We just hope the stuff we make tastes good enough for people to come back. Living and working in Borivali means you are always dealing with traffic and noise, but it gives the place a certain energy. We get our ingredients from the local markets when we can. It is a lot of heavy lifting and late nights, especially when there is a big holiday coming up. Sometimes things burn, or the dough does not rise, and we just have to start again. It is just how it is. We are just regular people who happen to really like baking and wanted to do it for a living.
