Babulal Diyora & Co is located right here in Kandivli East at Udaygiri. We’ve been at B/602 for quite a while now. It’s a busy spot near the Jain Temple in Ashok Nagar, so there is always a lot of movement outside. Most days are spent looking at stacks of files and trying to make sense of the latest tax changes for everyone who walks through the door. It isn't a fancy office with glass walls or anything like that. We just have our desks, some old cupboards for the papers, and a couple of computers that work hard. Being in Mumbai, things move fast, but we try to keep a steady pace here. People from around the neighborhood drop by mostly. Some are neighbors from the same building, and others come from further down in Ashok Nagar. We handle the usual stuff like auditing and tax filings. It gets really crowded during the end of the financial year, but that is how it goes for a chartered accountant. We don't have a big marketing team or anything. Most people find us because they live nearby or someone told them about us. It’s just us doing the work, day in and day out. Sometimes the tea arrives late, and sometimes the internet acts up, but the work gets finished eventually. We just stay focused on the numbers and try to help folks keep their accounts straight without making things too complicated for them.
