Awaam Care Foundation

Awaam Care Foundation is situated in Trombay. Our specific location is GM 19 at Cheeta Camp. It’s right on S T Road, near the Bhavani Stores. If you know that store, you can find us pretty easily. Trombay is a unique part of the city and being in Cheeta Camp means we are right in the thick of things. It is always busy around here. There are people walking by at all hours and the noise from S T Road is constant. Our office is a modest space. We don't have fancy office chairs or a big conference table. It is just a practical spot where we can sit down and get our work done. Being near Bhavani Stores is helpful because everyone uses it as a landmark. We spend our days talking to people from the neighborhood and dealing with local tasks. It’s not a polished corporate environment at all. Most of the time, the door is open to let some air in. We are just a group of local people who wanted a base for the foundation in our own area. We don't use big words or have complicated goals. We just take things one day at a time from this room in Cheeta Camp. It can be a bit cramped when it gets busy, but we don’t mind. It feels real and honest to work this way. We usually have some local snacks around the office for whoever stops by.
