We are tucked away in a small shop, number 13 to be exact, in the Malad Ambica area. It’s part of a cooperative society and sits right near the municipal ground. If you’re walking past the ground on a Saturday, you’ll probably hear the kids playing cricket while we’re inside working. Our address is Plot No. 29, but everyone just knows us by the shop number. It’s a humble little place. We don't have a lot of room, so everything is packed in quite tight. There’s a desk for everyone and a small area for filing. It’s a local vibe here, very different from the big shiny offices you see in the city. We know the other shop owners nearby, and we often chat with them during lunch breaks. It’s the kind of place where you know your neighbors. We’ve been here for a good while, and we’ve seen the municipal ground go through many changes. Our work involves a lot of sitting and talking, so having a quiet-ish spot near the ground is nice. We don't put on any acts here. If you come in, you'll see us exactly as we are, usually surrounded by stacks of papers and half-empty tea cups. It’s a very grounded way to work. We like being part of the local community rather than being hidden away in some high-rise. It’s just us, doing our thing in Shop 13.
