Our space is on the second floor of the Santwani building in Borivali West. It’s located on Devidas Lane, which is a fairly familiar spot for anyone living around the Eksar area. Being an LLP focused on lifestyle stuff, we spend a lot of our time looking at designs and figuring out what looks good. It isn't always glamorous though. Most days it’s just us sitting around the table trying to make decisions about fabrics or products. The building is a typical Co-operative Housing Society setup, so it feels very local. You can hear the sounds of the neighborhood all day. Sometimes the elevator is a bit slow, so we just take the stairs to the second floor. It’s good exercise. We’ve been here for a while and the office has sort of grown into itself. There are samples everywhere and boxes that we still need to unpack. We don’t bother much with looking corporate because that’s not really who we are. We just want to make things that people actually like to use. Borivali is a crowded place but we like the energy of it. There are plenty of tea stalls nearby where we go when we need a break from the screens. It’s a simple operation. We don’t have a massive staff, just a few people who know what they’re doing. We try to keep the atmosphere relaxed. If things get stressful, someone usually brings in snacks and that helps. It is just a regular office life for us.
