Articulate Foundation

Our base is in B008 at Snehi CHS Ltd, right on Lokhandwala Road in 4 Bunglows, Andheri West. If you know Mumbai, you know how hectic this part of town can get, especially in the evenings. We’re on the ground floor, which is quite lucky because we don’t have to deal with the elevators when we’re carrying boxes or gear. The office is a bit small and sometimes feels a little crowded when more than three of us are in there at once. We’ve got some mismatched chairs and a large table where most of the work happens. There’s a tea stall just around the corner that we visit way too often. The society itself is quite old, but it has a nice feeling to it. We know the security guards and the neighbors by name. It feels more like being at home than being at a workplace. We spend a lot of our time dealing with the daily admin stuff and talking to people who walk in off the street. Lokhandwala Road is always noisy, but we’ve gotten used to the sound of the rickshaws and the crowds. It’s a practical location for us since everything we need is just a short walk away. We don't have any fancy posters or corporate mission statements on the walls. Just some calendars and notes pinned up so we don't forget what needs doing next. It’s just how we operate.
