Running a transport business in Malad East isn't always easy, especially with the Mumbai traffic. We spend a lot of our time on the phone or checking the trucks. Our office is tucked away here, and it’s usually a bit noisy with the sounds of the city right outside the door. We handle all sorts of loads, mostly just helping people move their stuff from one place to another. Some days everything goes smooth, and other days the rain makes every delivery a bit of a headache. We don’t have a big corporate office or a fleet of thousands of trucks. It’s just a handful of us making sure things get loaded right and arrive where they’re supposed to go. We’ve learned over the years that things rarely go exactly to plan on the road, so we just deal with whatever happens. Whether it's a small move or something bigger, we just take it as it comes. We’ve been in Maharashtra for a long time, so we know the routes pretty well. You won’t find any fancy brochures here, just some logs and a lot of tea while we wait for drivers to check in. It’s hard work, and the hours are long, but it keeps us busy. We just focus on getting the job done without too much fuss.
