If you are looking for where we work, we are in Room 110 at the Sai Kirpa Apartment building. It is right opposite the Mourya Tabela in the Vasai area. It's a busy part of Thane, but we like the energy here. We started Anubhik Social Welfare Foundation because there was clearly a lot of work to be done in the community and someone had to step up. It’s not always easy work, but we manage to get through the week. Our office is just a simple room where we meet and plan things out. Usually, there is a lot of noise coming from the street, but that is just part of being in this neighborhood. We don't have a big team of corporate experts, just a bunch of us who actually care about what happens locally. Sometimes the weather gets really humid in this part of Maharashtra, and the office feels a bit small, but we make do with what we have. Most of our days involve talking to neighbors or trying to figure out how to help someone with a specific problem they’ve brought to us. We’re not here to make a big name for ourselves or anything. It's just a job that needs doing, and we’re the ones currently doing it. If you’re ever near the tabela, you’ll probably see us coming or going at odd hours. It’s a plain place, but it works for us and the people who come to see us. We’ve been in Vasai for a while and know the area pretty well now. We just take things as they come and try to be helpful.
