Our office is in Manu Bhai Chawl, specifically Room Number 1 in Chawl Number 2. It’s located on M.D. Road in Kandivali East. It is a very local kind of place, nothing like those tall glass buildings you see in the city center. We are right on the ground level, so we see everything that happens on the street. It can get pretty loud during the day with people walking by and vehicles moving through the narrow roads. We work on infomedia stuff here. It’s a small space, but we’ve made it work for our needs. We have our computers lined up, and we spend most of our hours looking at data or organizing information. There’s a lot of life around here. You can smell food cooking from the nearby houses and hear the kids playing outside sometimes. It’s a real Mumbai neighborhood. We don’t have a big sign or anything flashy. People who need us usually know where to find us. We take our breaks together and usually grab a tea from the stall around the corner. It’s not a fancy corporate life, but it’s our daily routine. We keep the files moving and the info updated. Kandivali East is a busy area, but being in the chawl makes us feel connected to the community. We just stay focused on the tasks and get home through the evening rush.
