Our office for Alchemi Developers Private Limited is tucked away on the ground floor of Krishna Kunj, right on S.V. Road in Malad West. Being at number 7 makes it pretty convenient for people to just walk in from the street without climbing any stairs. It’s a busy part of town, so there is always noise from the traffic outside, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. We spend our time here working on development projects and figuring out the logistics of building things. It is just a regular office with some computers and a bunch of blueprints rolled up in the corners. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to do decent work in the Malad area. Most of us grew up around here, so we know the streets and the people. When we aren't at our desks, we're usually out at a site checking on how things are moving along. It’s a lot of coordination and sometimes things go slower than we want, but that’s just how the building business is. We try to be fair with everyone we work with. It's a small crew here, usually just three or four of us at a time. We handle the local regulations and the paperwork that comes with developing property. It keeps us busy enough.
