If you’ve ever been stuck in traffic on S.V. Road in Andheri West, you might have passed the Laram Centre. We are at 35-A, which is where Aksaja Constructions And Developers Private Limited is based. It’s a busy spot, right in the heart of everything. Being developers means we are constantly looking at land and figuring out how to turn it into something useful. The office is usually a mess of blueprints and empty tea cups. We have people coming in and out all day—contractors, architects, and guys from the sites. It’s a bit chaotic, but that’s Andheri for you. We don't use a lot of fancy words to describe what we do. We build houses and commercial spaces, and we try to do it without making too many mistakes along the way. Sometimes the regulations change or the weather ruins our timeline, and we just have to figure out a new plan. The staff here is a mix of people who have been in construction for decades and some newer faces. We don't have a big marketing department because we're too busy actually doing the work. Usually, we are out on the field more than we are behind a desk. It’s a noisy, fast-paced environment, but we wouldn’t have it any other way. We just keep building and moving on to the next plot of land when we’re done.
