You can find Ajame Exim India on the 3rd floor of the Phoenix Paragon Plaza. We are in unit 3B-10. It’s right on LBS Marg in Kurla West. Being in a big plaza like this is convenient for some things, but the walk from the parking area can be a bit of a hike. Our office isn’t huge, but it fits our team and all the folders we have to keep. We do a lot of work involving international trade, which means we’re often working odd hours to talk to people in different time zones. The LBS Marg traffic is something we talk about every single morning. It’s never quiet outside. Inside, we just focus on the logistics of moving freight. There are no fancy lounges or high-tech gadgets here, just some reliable computers and a printer that occasionally jams. We keep things pretty straightforward. We get an order, we find the best way to move it, and we handle the customs details. It’s a lot of back-and-forth with transport companies. Most of us have been working together for a few years now, so we know how to handle the busy seasons without getting too stressed out. We don’t really do big meetings; we just chat across the desks when something needs fixing. It’s a practical way to run things in Mumbai. The coffee machine in the corner is probably the most important member of the team and we use it a lot every day.
