Agrim Agarwal Foundation

Agrim Agarwal Foundation is tucked away in the Laxmi Industrial Estate on New Link Road. We are in unit 5 E, which is pretty close to the Reliance office in Andheri West. The estate is always buzzing with activity, so there is never a dull moment. We have a small office here where we try to coordinate our different programs. It’s a bit of a maze to find us the first time, but once you know the way, it’s easy. We aren't a big corporation with hundreds of employees. It is just a handful of us who care about the work. We spend our mornings responding to emails and our afternoons usually involve going out to meet people. The office is often a bit cluttered with posters and supplies for whatever project is happening next. We don't mind the mess much because it means things are actually happening. Living and working in Andheri means we are right in the thick of it. Sometimes the traffic on Link Road makes getting around a nightmare, but we manage. We aren't doing this for the recognition or to have a fancy address. We just wanted a base where we could organize ourselves and be useful to the city. It’s a straightforward setup. We show up, we do the work, and we go home. That’s pretty much the long and short of it.
