You can find us at Room No 6 in the Deonar Municipal Colony over in Govandi. It’s a very tight-knit area with families living close together. We’ve got this small room where all our activities happen. It’s right in the heart of the community, which is exactly where we wanted to be from the start. Living and working in Mumbai, especially around a place like Govandi, you see a lot of daily struggles and also a lot of strength. We set this up because we saw that women in the colony needed a bit of support sometimes with their daily lives. It’s not a big corporate setup with glass walls or anything like that. It’s just us talking to our neighbors and trying to figure out solutions together. The colony is always full of life, with kids running around and people heading off to work. We fit right into that daily rhythm. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded in our small office, but that’s part of the charm. We handle issues as they come up one by one. No fancy slogans or polished speeches here, just real people dealing with real-life situations. We might be a small team, but we are here every single day. If you’re walking through the municipal colony, you’ll probably see us sitting there. We’ve been here long enough to know most of the faces and it feels good to be part of the place. Anyway, we just take it day by day.
