Our place, Adh Food And Spices Private Limited, is right on Devidayal Road in Mulund West. We are in Flat 101 of the BPS Astha building, which is very close to the bus depot. If you are standing near the depot, you can almost see our building. Being in the food and spice business means we are always thinking about flavors and supplies. The office often smells like the samples we have laying around, which is much better than a typical sterile office smell. It is a busy street, and the sound of the buses coming and going is the background noise of our lives. We have been in this spot for a while, and the neighbors all know us. The office itself is pretty simple, with a few big tables where we sort through papers and look at spice samples. We don't have any big signs or fancy decorations. It is a practical space for practical work. We spend a lot of time talking to suppliers and making sure the quality is what it needs to be for the market. Mulund West is a great place to be because there are so many food-related businesses around here. We usually just work through the day, taking a break for a vada pav or some tea from the stall downstairs. It is just a local business doing its part in the spice trade from a small corner of Mumbai.
