Addiction Impex Private Limited

Our office is over in Goregaon East, specifically Office 610 in the Corporate Avenue building on Sonawala Road. It’s a pretty large building with all kinds of companies, but we’ve been here at Addiction Impex for a long time now. Dealing with imports and exports in a place like Mumbai means you always have to be ready for something to go sideways. The traffic on Sonawala Road can be a real pain in the neck, especially in the evenings, so we often end up staying late just to finish the day's tasks. We handle the logistical side of things, mostly making sure that shipments don't get stuck at the port for too long. It involves a lot of phone calls to agents and constant checking on where the containers are. The office is just a regular workspace, nothing fancy to look at, just desks and plenty of shelves filled with old files. We started out small and have just kept grinding away year after year. Most of our day is spent staring at spreadsheets or negotiating with different vendors. We don't really do the whole corporate pitch or marketing thing. People in the trade know us because we’ve been around and we just do the work we’re supposed to do. It gets really hectic when several shipments land at the same time, and then the whole office is covered in papers. We usually grab lunch at a small place nearby and then get right back to it in the afternoon.
