Aadhyatmik Seva Charitable Foundation

We are located over at Hill Creast in Sariput Nagar, which is right on the JV Link Road in Marol. If you know Mumbai, you know how busy Andheri East can get with all the traffic and people moving around. Our office is in the B Wing, room 504. It is not a very big space, just a regular room where we keep our files and sit down to talk. We started the Aadhyatmik Seva Charitable Foundation because a few of us who live nearby felt like we should have a formal way to help out. It is mostly just us and a couple of volunteers who drop by when they have some free time after work. The building is usually quite busy, and we often hear the noise from the main road while we are working. We don’t have a big staff or a fancy reception desk. Most of the time, it is just one or two people handling the phone calls or writing things down in the registers. We try to keep things simple here. We don't really go for big meetings or complicated plans. It is more about looking at what is happening in the neighborhood and seeing if we can be of any use. Sometimes the elevator in the building takes forever, so we end up talking to the neighbors in the lobby. It is just a normal life for us here in Mumbai, trying to do something decent.
