6Pm Studio Llp is over at Flat Number 905 in the Neona C H S. We are located on J N Road in Suburban Greater Mumbai, specifically in the 400080 area. Being on the ninth floor gives us a bit of a break from the noise on J N Road. Mumbai is always loud, but up here it’s a little more manageable. The building is a typical cooperative housing society, and we’ve adapted our space to work for the studio. It’s not a huge place, but it’s ours. We spend a lot of time here, sometimes late into the evening, which I guess fits the name. The commute can be a bit of a pain depending on where you're coming from in the suburbs, but that’s just Mumbai life. We don’t have a receptionist or a lobby with magazines. You just come up to the ninth floor and knock. Most of our days are spent sitting at the computers or talking about what needs to be done next. It’s a very relaxed atmosphere. We wear what we want and keep the tea kettle going. There’s no corporate handbook or anything. We just know what needs to get done and we do it from this apartment-turned-office. It’s practical, it’s local, and it works for us. We’re just a small team making things happen in Neona. There isn't much more to it than that. We just enjoy the space we have.
