Maneck Mahal is where we are based, right on Juhu Tara Road. Our unit is 3A. If you know Juhu, you know it’s a place that gets very busy, especially because of the beach nearby. We focus on plant-based foods, which is how we came up with the name Vegantribe. It is a small setup, nothing fancy. We spend most of our time in the kitchen or handling the orders that come in. Juhu Tara Road is always full of cars and people, so it can be quite a struggle just to get to work sometimes. We are just a small team of people who wanted to do something different with food. We don't have any corporate polish or a big marketing department. We just try out different recipes and see what people like. The building we are in has been there for a while, and it has its quirks, like the occasional leaky pipe or a flickering light. We don't mind it too much. We started this because we like the idea of making food without using animal products. It is a lot of work and we are often here late at night. We don't have any big speeches to give about our vision. We just want to make decent food that people enjoy eating. Being at number 27 Juhu Tara Road puts us right in the heart of things. We just keep working and trying to improve.
