We are Um Builders and we set up our shop over in Borivali West, specifically at C 111 in the Gorai Bses Friends CHS. It is right on L T Road, not too far from the Gorai Bus Depot, which makes it easy for our workers to get here. Being at Plot No. 4 has worked out well for us over the years. It is a local neighborhood vibe here, not like those glass skyscrapers you see downtown. We mostly deal with residential projects and spend a lot of time talking to neighbors and local authorities. The office is often a bit messy with site plans spread out over the tables and samples of tiles or bricks sitting in the corners. We do not have a big marketing department or anything like that. Usually, it is just us answering the phones and heading out to the sites to check on the progress. Things do not always go perfectly—sometimes deliveries are late or the weather ruins a day of work—but we just deal with it as it comes. We have been in this part of Mumbai for a long time now and we like being part of the Borivali community. People often stop by just to ask a quick question or see what we are working on next. We prefer keeping things casual and honest. There is no need for fancy titles or corporate talk when you are just trying to build something decent for people to live in. (259 words)
