Swad Aanusat Foods Llp

Swad Aanusat Foods is based in Wadala East, over in the B Wing of the Zeon Bhakti building. If you know the Ajmera Land area, you’ll know it’s quite a modern part of Mumbai now. We are up on the 2204 floor, so the view of the city is actually pretty good, though we spend most of our time looking at spreadsheets and inventory lists. The building is usually buzzing with activity, especially around the lifts during the morning rush. We are an LLP, so it’s a partnership of people who just wanted to get into the food business. It gets quite busy in the office when we have new batches coming in. Mumbai City is always moving fast, and Wadala East is no exception with the monorail and all the new construction around us. We try to keep things simple here. There’s no big mission statement on the wall, just a bunch of us trying to make sure the food products are handled correctly. Most of our day is spent on the phone or coordinating with the warehouse guys. It’s a lot of logistical work, really. Sometimes the traffic downstairs is a nightmare, but that’s just life in Mumbai. We’ve been in this spot for a bit, and it works well for us because we’re central enough to reach most parts of the city. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there; we just want to do our work and go home to our families.
