We’re over in Andheri East, right in the middle of all the noise and traffic on the Jogeshwari Vikhroli Link Road. Our office is tucked into the Splendor Complex, which is a pretty well-known building if you live around here. Being across from the Majas Depot means there is always something going on outside our windows. Sirrah Palace Hotels Llp isn't some giant corporation with hundreds of staff. It’s just a handful of us working out of this spot in Mumbai. The city is always moving and we are right in the thick of it. Most days we are busy handling the paperwork and making sure our locations are running okay. It’s a bit cramped sometimes in the office, but that’s just how Mumbai is. We don’t spend money on fancy decorations or anything. We just focus on the work. Dealing with the heat and the monsoon rain is part of the job here. You learn to just keep going. People often ask why we chose this busy area, but it makes sense because everything is close by. We do our best to stay organized despite the chaos of the JVLR traffic outside. It’s a simple setup we have at D 1607. We are just local people trying to make a living in the hospitality business without making a big fuss about it. We’ve been here for a bit and know the neighborhood well now. There is always someone here answering phones and sorting out schedules.
