We are located right in the thick of things at Zaveri Bazar. Our office is on the seventh floor of the D.D. Jewel Premises building on Agiary 1st Lane. If you’ve ever been to Kalbadevi, you know how packed those streets get. It’s a lot of walking and dodging carts. We are in room 702. Being up so high is nice because you get a bit of a break from the shouting and the crowds downstairs. Zaveri Bazar is a place where everyone knows everyone, and we’ve been part of that for a while now. We handle gold work, and there is never a quiet moment during business hours. The building is a cooperative society, so it’s full of other people doing similar things. We share the halls with all sorts of traders. It’s not a fancy place with carpets and art. It’s a working office with desks, chairs, and lots of papers. Sometimes the electricity acts up or the elevator takes forever, but that’s just life in an old part of Mumbai. We don't mind it much. It’s where the work happens. People come by to drop off things or pick up orders all day. We just keep the tea brewing and stay busy. It’s a good spot if you’re in the trade. We’ve seen the market change over the years, with new people coming and going, but the essence of Zaveri Bazar stays the same. It’s always about the gold and the trust between people. We don't have a website or anything like that, mostly just word of mouth and people seeing us here.
