SHAMBHAVI TWINCITY LLP

The sun hits the windows around noon in our room at Bhaveshwar Kutir. We’ve been here on Rajawadi Road for a bit now, and you get used to the sounds of the Sanyas Ashram nearby. It’s a busy enough street, but once you’re up on the fourth floor, things settle down a little. We spend most of our mornings just sorting through papers and taking calls at Shambhavi Twincity LLP. The desk in the corner has a bit of a wobble that we haven’t gotten around to fixing yet, so we just use a folded piece of cardboard under the leg. It works fine. Most of us take the train and then walk from the station, which is a good way to wake up, though the humidity in Mumbai doesn't help much during the summer months. There’s a small tea stall just a few buildings down where the chai is actually decent if you catch them at the right time. We aren't a big company with fancy glass walls or anything like that. It’s just us in an old building where the elevator sometimes makes a clicking sound that makes you wonder if you should just take the stairs. We have a few cabinets filled with files that probably need better labeling, but we know where everything is. The walls are a plain off-white, and there’s a clock that’s about five minutes fast, but we leave it like that so nobody is late for lunch.
