We are located in the Chetan Industrial Corporation building. Our unit is C 12, on Plot A 38. This is right in the MIDC area on Mahakali Caves Road in Andheri East. It’s a very industrial setting. There are trucks moving around all the time and the sound of machines from the other units. Shah And Rana Realty Llp operates out of this space. It’s not a soft or quiet office. We have sturdy desks and file cabinets that have seen better days. The air is often heavy with the smell of the city and the nearby factories. We’ve got a small area for making tea and that’s about it for luxuries. Most of our work is done on the move, but this is where we regroup. The traffic on Mahakali Caves Road can be a nightmare in the evenings, so we often stay late to avoid it. It’s a practical location for us because it’s central. We aren't interested in having a polished showroom. We just need a place to keep our documents and have our meetings. It feels very real and gritty, which matches the work we do. We’ve been in this unit for quite some time now. Everyone in the building knows each other. It’s a community of workers. We just keep our heads down and get through the list of things to do every single morning.
