Sanchem Exports Llp is located in 1401B, Naman Midtown, which sits on Senapati Bapat Marg in Dadar West. This part of Mumbai is always moving, and being right next to the Indiabulls Financial Centre means there are always a lot of people in suits walking around. Our office is way up on the fourteenth floor, so we get a decent view of the city roofs and the trains moving in the distance. Even though the building looks very modern and shiny from the outside, our actual office is just a place where we do our daily work. We have our desks, a lot of computer monitors, and the usual piles of folders that every export business seems to have. The elevators can take a while during the lunch hour, so we usually just bring our own food and eat at our desks. It’s a professional environment in Mumbai City-400028, but we keep things pretty casual among ourselves. We spend the day making calls, typing out documents, and trying to keep everything on schedule here in Maharashtra. It can be a bit stressful when deadlines are close, but we just take it one task at a time. The office is air-conditioned, which is a relief from the Dadar heat, but we still feel the energy of the city below us. By the time we leave in the evening, the lights of the other buildings are all on, and we head down to join the crowd at the station. It is just another day at work.
