Richmond Buildtech Llp operates out of the Mangesh Industrial Estate on Nahur Village Road in Bhandup. It’s an industrial part of Mumbai, so there’s always the sound of machinery or trucks nearby. Our office is care of Abhishek B Vichare, and it is a pretty basic setup. We deal with building and technology projects, mostly focusing on the practical side of construction. The estate itself is always busy with people moving things around. We have a lot of equipment and materials that we have to keep track of, which can be a bit of a headache sometimes. We don't have a receptionist or a waiting room with magazines. If you come by, you’ll probably find us looking at a laptop or talking to a foreman. Bhandup is a rugged area and our work reflects that. We don't use any fancy language to describe what we do. We just build things. Some projects are harder than others, and the Mumbai weather can really throw a wrench in the plans, especially during the monsoon. We’ve had days where we just have to wait out the rain before we can do anything at all. It’s not a glamorous life, but it’s what we know how to do. We just try to stay on schedule and deal with the problems as they arise. It’s a straightforward way to run a business and it seems to work for us as we go through our daily tasks.
