Our office for Pivot Ventures Advisors Llp is up on the 4th floor of Mehta Mahal. It’s located on Mathew Road, right in the Opera House area of Girgaon. It’s a busy part of town, which means there’s always a lot of noise from the street coming up, even on the fourth floor. The building is one of those older ones that has a lot of character, though the stairs can be a bit of a climb if you aren't used to it. We spend most of our time here at our desks. It’s not a polished, modern space with glass walls. Instead, it’s got a bit of a lived-in feel with stacks of papers and mismatched furniture. We like it that way because it feels real. We handle our advisory work without making a big fuss about it. We’ve been in Girgaon for a while and have seen the neighborhood change quite a bit, but Mehta Mahal stays pretty much the same. We just come in, get the work done, and deal with whatever comes up during the day. It’s a straightforward operation. We don’t go in for all the corporate buzzwords or fancy presentations. We just sit down, look at what needs to be done, and do it. It’s a practical place for practical work, and that suits us just fine. Being in the heart of Mumbai keeps us on our toes every single day.
