Being right near the Bombay Stock Exchange means there is always a lot of energy around us, though we try to keep things a bit more low-key inside our own doors. It's a classic Fort office setup. We don't have a whole lot of staff, just enough to manage the ventures we're involved with. The building itself has been around for a long time, and we like that it feels like it has some real character. We aren't interested in being some high-flying corporate entity. We just want to handle our business ventures in a sensible way. The commute to this part of Mumbai is always an adventure, but once we're in the office, it's just about getting to work. We don't spend money on fancy furniture or big advertisements. Most of our work is done through direct contact and just being reliable to the people we deal with. It’s a simple operation in a historic part of Mumbai City. Sometimes the street outside is so loud you can hardly hear yourself think, but that's just part of being in this area. We’ve settled in here and it works for us. We do our bits and pieces, keep the books straight, and move on to the next day without making a big fuss about it.
