Our office is over in Vile Parle East, at Unmesh Society on N. P. Thakkar Road. We are in unit 202. It’s a pretty easy spot to find because it’s right near Rajpuriya Hall, which most people in the neighborhood know. Vile Parle has that nice, somewhat residential feel even though there’s a lot of business happening. Our space is quite simple. We do people advisory work, so there’s a lot of talking and listening going on here throughout the day. We don’t have any fancy glass partitions or anything like that. It’s just a regular office with some good light coming through the windows. The society is generally quiet, which is helpful when we’re on the phone with people. Sometimes the street outside gets a bit crowded if there’s an event at the hall, but usually, it’s just the normal flow of the neighborhood. We’ve got our desks set up in a way that makes it easy to chat with each other while we work. It’s not a massive operation, just a few of us trying to keep everything running smoothly for the people we help. We like being in this part of Mumbai because it feels very connected but not as overwhelming as the downtown areas can be. It’s a practical, down-to-earth place to spend the workday. We just focus on the tasks at hand and try to keep things organized as best as we can.
