We’re over at Samkeet Apartment in Vile Parle East. Specifically, Neminath Dwellers Llp is located in B Wing on the first floor. The address is a bit long on paper—46 47 Tps-V along Sant Janabai Marg—but once you’re on the street, it’s not too hard to spot the building. It’s a residential-style setup, which we prefer over those cold, glass towers. Being on the first floor is handy because we don’t have to wait for the lift. The office is pretty basic. We’ve got some chairs for visitors and a few big tables where we spread out our plans. Vile Parle is a busy place, and there’s always something happening right outside the window. We focus on local dwelling projects and housing. Most of the people working here have lived in Mumbai for years, so we understand how things go around here. It’s not a high-pressure corporate environment. We have our tea breaks and talk about the news just like anyone else. Sometimes the office feels a bit small when everyone is in at once, but we manage just fine. We don’t do much in the way of flashy presentations. We just show people what we’re working on and go from there. It’s an honest way to do business in a city that’s always moving. We try to be helpful to anyone who walks in, though we are usually buried under piles of files.
