Mvkp Chemtrade Llp is located in the Neelkanth Business Park, right near the bus depot in Vidyavihar West. We are up on the fifth floor in unit D 522. It’s a modern building compared to some others, but our office is pretty basic. We trade in chemicals, which means a lot of paperwork and phone calls to manufacturers and transport companies. The view from the fifth floor is mostly of the railway tracks and the busy street below. It gets noisy when the trains go by, but you get used to it after a week. We are a small partnership. There are only a few of us here, and we handle everything from the accounts to the logistics ourselves. We don't have any fancy receptionists or big boardrooms. We usually just sit around the main table and figure out the day’s schedule. The bus depot being so close is handy for the staff. We don’t really do any big advertising campaigns. Most of our trade comes from people we’ve known for years in the industry. It’s a lot of checking specifications and making sure the delivery dates are met. We keep a fridge full of cold water and a kettle for tea because it gets stuffy in the afternoon. We aren't trying to change the world; we’re just trying to run a decent trading business and make sure our partners are satisfied with the deals we make. It’s steady work and we like the location.
