Mojan Social Foundation

Mojan Social Foundation operates out of Room M 10 in Saraswati Galli. If you know Mumbai, you know how crowded P L Lokhande Marg gets, but that’s where we are. It is a small room, nothing fancy at all, but it serves our purpose for the social work we do around here. We spend a lot of our time talking to people in the neighborhood and trying to figure out how to help with daily struggles. Living in Mumbai 400089 means things are always moving, and we just try to keep up. We don't have a big team or a fancy website. Usually, it's just a couple of us sitting in the office handling whatever comes our way. Sometimes the noise from the street is a bit much, but you get used to it after a few months. We chose this spot because it's right in the middle of where the people are. It’s easier to see what’s going on when you’re right there on the ground in Saraswati Galli. We handle a lot of paperwork and meet with locals who have various issues they need help with. It’s practical work. We don’t use big words or make grand promises. We just show up every day and do what needs doing. The space is a bit tight with all the files, but it works for us. We are glad to be here and keep things moving for our neighbors on P L Lokhande Marg.
