Mani Gems Llp

We are based in the Bharat Diamond Bourse in Bandra East. Our office is DW 6040, which is on the sixth floor. Getting here takes some time because the complex is so big and the security is quite tight. We have been working out of this space for some time now. We deal with gems. Most of our day involves sitting at the stone-viewing tables. We have special north-facing light or lamps that mimic it. It’s a very quiet office most of the time. We aren't really into big slogans or fancy presentations. We just put the gems on the paper and look at them. Sometimes we have tea while discussing the quality of a new lot. The Bourse is a bit of a maze, but we have gotten used to the long walks between the towers. Our office has a few chairs for when people come to visit. We keep our records in big folders and on the computer. It’s a lot of small details to keep track of. We don’t have a massive staff, just enough to keep things running smoothly. We focus on the work at hand and try to get home before the BKC traffic gets too bad. It’s just a normal gem business doing its thing in a very large building. We don't have any fancy posters on the walls, just a calendar and some notes. Most of our time is spent with a loupe in one hand and a tweezers in the other. It takes a lot of patience. We are happy with our spot on the sixth floor. It’s a bit of a climb if the lift is busy, but it’s our home away from home.
