L.E.K. Management Consulting Llp is based over in Malad West, specifically in the Jaswanti Allied Business Centre. We are up on the fifth floor in room A 501L. It is right next to the Khwaish Hotel on Ramchandra Lane, which makes it easy to tell people where we are located when they get lost. Malad is always crowded, and the lane can be a bit of a nightmare during rush hour with all the rickshaws and delivery bikes zipping around. Our office is a standard business space where we spend most of our time looking at data and talking to clients about their management structures. It is a lot of sitting at desks and long phone calls. The building itself is busy with many other small companies, so there is always someone waiting for the lift or chatting in the hallways. We are not some giant global firm with a hundred floors; we are just here in Malad doing our bit. Sometimes we go down to the local spots for a quick snack or to get out of the office for a few minutes. The work is mostly about solving problems for other businesses, which can be stressful but also keeps things interesting day to day. We do not really do fancy presentations unless we absolutely have to. Most of the time, it is just us and our laptops, trying to make sense of whatever consulting project we have on our plate at the moment.
