Our office is tucked away in the Neelkanth Business Park over in Vidyavihar West. We are on the seventh floor, room B702, so we get a decent view of the bus depot nearby. Being right near Kirol Village gives the area a bit of character compared to the more modern parts of Mumbai. Karkinos Corporate Advisors Llp is the name on the door, but inside, it’s just a handful of us sitting at desks. We spend a lot of time on advisory work, which involves a lot of reading and checking numbers. The building is usually buzzing with people from all sorts of different businesses. It can get a little crowded at the elevators during the morning rush, but we manage. We aren’t big on fancy office decor or anything. We have our computers, a few chairs for guests, and plenty of tea to get through the afternoon. Most of our day is spent helping people navigate their business problems. It’s not always exciting, but it’s the work we know how to do. Sometimes we walk down to the local stalls for a quick snack when the work gets a bit much. It’s a straightforward life here. We don’t try to act like we are something we’re not. We just show up, do the advisory stuff, and try to make things easier for the companies that come to us. That’s about it for us. We just keep our heads down and do the work that is needed from us.
