We're based in the Poodar Shopping Centre, which is right on S V Road in Kandivali West. It's a pretty busy part of Mumbai, so there’s always something going on outside our door. Our office for Jpr Stone Infra Llp is at 4C, and it’s where we handle all the paperwork for the stone and infrastructure projects we're involved in. Most of the time, we aren't even in the office because we're out at sites or checking on material supplies. Stone work is tricky because every batch is a bit different, and you have to keep an eye on what’s being delivered. S V Road traffic can be a nightmare, so we try to schedule our meetings around the peak hours, though it doesn't always work out. Our team is small, just a few people who know the stone trade well. We don't have a big showroom with lights and fancy displays. It's more of a functional space with samples tucked away in corners and blueprints spread out on the tables. People usually come to us through word of mouth or because they've seen our name on a site nearby. It’s been a bit of a journey setting things up in this part of the city. We deal with all sorts of stone, and it’s always interesting to see how a project turns out once the materials are actually laid down. We just keep our heads down and do the work that comes our way. Sometimes the phone doesn't stop ringing, but we just take it one call at a time.
