JATEX FAB LLP

Jatex Fab LLP is way up on the 17th floor of the Lodha Supremus building at Worli Naka. Even though the building is quite modern and fancy our office inside is just a workspace like any other. Being in Worli means we are right in the heart of Mumbai’s commercial side. You can see the city stretching out from the windows but mostly we are looking at fabric swatches and order forms. We deal with textiles and the name Jatex Fab has been our identity for a while. The elevators in this building take forever during lunch time so we usually just bring our own food from home. It is a busy place with a lot of other companies around but we mostly keep to ourselves and focus on the cloth trade. We handle everything from sourcing the material to making sure it gets delivered to the garment makers. It is a lot of phone calls and sometimes a bit of arguing with the transporters when they are late because of the Mumbai traffic. We do not have a mission statement on the wall or anything. We just want to make sure the fabric is good and the customers are satisfied enough to come back next time. It is a high-rise office but the work we do is very grounded and practical.
