Running Hungry Cook Llp from the 6th floor of Regal Heights is a bit of a daily hike, even with the lift working most of the time. We are situated at Plot 268 on Sion Road No 31. This whole Sion Matunga Estate area has a very specific feel to it. It is busy and a bit loud with the traffic coming off the main roads. Being in Sion East means we see a lot of the local commuters and the students from the nearby colleges hanging around. Our office, Room 602, is not very large, but we have packed it with everything we need to stay busy. It gets quite warm in the afternoons since we are up higher, but you get a decent view of the rooftops around Scheme No 6. We do not really have a fancy reception area or anything. It is mostly just desks and people working on their computers or talking on the phone. The building has been here for a while, so it has that lived-in look. We chose this spot because it was central enough for us to get around Mumbai without too much trouble, though the Sion traffic is always a gamble. We just show up every morning, drink some tea, and get to work. It is a simple setup for a small team that just wants to keep things moving forward without any complicated nonsense or high-level corporate talk.
