We've been at Saifee Manzil for a while now. The building is on Church Road in Marol, right inside Saifee Park. It’s one of those busy spots in Andheri East where there’s always something going on outside the window. Our office is at number 308. Most days, the traffic on the main road is pretty loud, but once you get inside the park area, it settles down a little bit. It’s not a fancy glass tower or anything like that. Just a regular building where people come to get their work done. The stairs are a bit narrow and we usually see the same neighbors every morning when we arrive. Sometimes the humidity in Mumbai makes the walk from the station feel longer than it actually is. We’ve got a few desks pushed together and some filing cabinets that have seen better days. The walls are a standard off-white and there’s a small fan that clicks when it’s on the highest setting. Marol is a bit crowded, especially during the monsoon when the puddles start forming near the entrance. We usually grab tea from the stall around the corner around four in the afternoon. It’s just how things are here. We don't have a big reception area or a sign that lights up. Most people just find us by looking for the society name near the gate. It works for us and we've gotten used to the rhythm of the neighborhood over the months.
