Glossy Diamonds Llp is based in the C Tower of the Bharat Diamond Bourse. We are on the fifth floor in the Central Wing, unit CC5080. If you have ever been to the Bourse in BKC, you know how huge and confusing it can be at first. We’ve been here long enough that we can find our way around with our eyes closed. The Bandra East area has changed so much since they built this complex. It feels like its own little city inside those gates. Our office is where all the actual work happens. We handle diamonds, mostly focusing on the day-to-day sorting and logistics. It’s not a glamorous lifestyle, despite what people think about the diamond trade. Most of it is just sitting at a desk and being very patient. We have a few windows that look out, but mostly we are looking at the stones. The 400051 area is always buzzing with activity, and we are just one small part of it. We don't put much effort into being fancy. The desks are a bit cluttered and the chairs have seen better days. It’s a real workplace for real people. We appreciate the security here, even if the check-in process takes a while every morning. It's just part of the job when you work in this industry in Mumbai. We stay busy and we stay focused on what is right in front of us.
