We are located on the third floor of Sunder Bhavan. If you know the Fort area in Mumbai, you know how busy Perin Nariman Street gets. It’s always crowded outside with people rushing to work or grabbing lunch from the street vendors. Our office is a bit of a climb since the building is older, but it has that classic Mumbai feel. We’ve been working from this spot for a while now. Most of the time, the rooms are filled with the sound of keyboards clicking and the occasional tea delivery from the guy downstairs. It’s not a very big space, but we make it work with what we have. The walls are lined with folders and some old books we’ve gathered over the years. We do consulting, which basically means we spend a lot of time on the phone or looking at documents on our screens. There’s no big corporate vibe here. It’s just a few of us trying to stay organized in the middle of all the city chaos. Sometimes the traffic noise from the street below is pretty loud, especially in the afternoons when everyone is honking. We’ve gotten used to it though and it just becomes background noise. We usually just have our lunch at our desks while we talk about whatever is in the news or the cricket scores. It’s a practical place for practical work. We don't really do the whole fancy office thing with glass walls or modern art. It’s just a bunch of desks and some chairs.
