We spend most of our days here in Mulund East, right at B/903 in Bramha Niwas. It’s a familiar spot for anyone who knows the area near R R School. Being right off the Eastern Express Highway means there is always some noise from the traffic, but we have gotten used to it over the months. The office isn't anything fancy, just a regular space where we handle things. Usually, someone is here by ten, unless the traffic on the highway is worse than usual. We see the school kids walking by every morning and afternoon. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded around the entrance because of the school buses. Our desks are mostly covered in papers and maps of the neighborhood. It is just a few of us working here. Most people find us because they live nearby or saw the sign while stuck in traffic outside. We don’t really do much big advertising, just work from this room in Mulund. It’s a bit of a walk from the station if you are coming by train, but the rickshaws know Bramha Niwas well enough. We keep the windows shut mostly to block out the dust from the highway construction. It’s just how things are in this part of town. We’ve been in this building for a while now, and the neighbors are mostly families who have lived here for years. It’s a quiet building once you get inside and away from the road noise.
