We’re located in Borivali West, specifically in Flat 403 at Madhav CHS. It’s right on Linking Road, which everyone knows is a pretty hectic spot, especially being right across from Don Bosco School. We hear the school bells and the kids all day long from our windows. Our business is all about chai and the cafe vibe, though a lot of our actual administrative work happens right here in the flat. It’s a bit of a squeeze sometimes with all the files and the equipment we have to keep track of, but it works for us. Living and working in the same general area of Mumbai City means we don't have a long commute, which is a blessing given how bad Linking Road traffic gets. We spend our mornings planning the menu and making sure we have enough tea leaves and milk for the day's needs. It's a lot of talking on the phone and scribbling notes on whatever paper is handy. The building, Madhav CHS, is a typical Mumbai housing society where everyone knows everyone’s business. We try to keep things quiet so we don’t bother the neighbors too much with our tea talk. Running a cafe as an LLP means there’s always some legal thing or tax form to worry about. We aren't fancy people. We just like a good cup of tea and want to provide a place where others can have one too without any fuss. It’s just about serving a good drink and keeping the cafe running smoothly every single day for the local crowd.
