Cakeify Confectionery Llp is tucked away in the D. C. Silk Mills Compound on Kondivita Road. We are up on the first floor in the Chunawalaestate part of the compound. Andheri East is a busy place, and this area is full of old industrial units and small workshops. Our space is not fancy at all. It is a practical working environment where we spend most of our waking hours. The compound has a lot of history, and you can still see the old structure of the silk mills. Being on the first floor means we see a lot of the activity happening in the estate below. We started here because the location is central for what we do. It is not the kind of place you come for a sit-down meal; it is more of a production hub. We handle all our own orders and do the baking ourselves. Sometimes the noise from the other units in the compound can be a bit much, but we have gotten used to it. We are just a local team trying to keep up with the daily demands of running a confectionery business. There are no corporate boardrooms or polished sales pitches here. We just focus on the ovens and the ingredients. If you find yourself on Kondivita Road, you will see the gate to the D. C. Silk Mills. That is where we spend our days, just working.
