Being in Sakinaka means dealing with the Andheri-Kurla Road every single day. Our office for BONNE FIRE ENTERTAINMENT AND HOLIDAY RES ORTS LLP is in Akruti Orchid Park, specifically in the I wing on the eleventh floor. It is quite high up, so you get a decent view of the rooftops and the metro line moving along. The building itself is a mix of people living there and small offices like ours. It can get a bit noisy with all the construction and the traffic sounds drifting up, but you get used to it after a week or two. We spend our time working on holiday resort plans and entertainment stuff, though most of the day is really just emails and phone calls. Sometimes the lift takes forever, so we end up chatting with the neighbors in the hallway. It is a very Mumbai kind of place. There is a lot of energy around Sakinaka. You have the street food stalls right outside the gate and people always rushing to catch the next train. We are not some big corporate firm with a glass lobby and a receptionist in a suit. It is just a few of us in a room making things happen. We started here because it was central, and we have just stayed. It is a bit cramped at times with all the files, but it works for what we need. The rainy season makes the road outside pretty messy, but that is just part of the deal.
